Treatment of Class II Malocclusion with One Congenitally Missing and One Malformed Maxillary Lateral Incisors Using Customized Lingual Appliance

For the orthodontic treatment of the patient with missing or malformed lateral incisors, it exists various treatment options. It must be considered, such as esthetics, occlusion, treatment time, patient comfort, patient compliance, and periodontal support for the proper treatment planning. This case report presents a successful treatment involving canine substitution in a patient who has a missing and a peg-shaped maxillary lateral incisor with customized lingual appliance.
